5. Quote and Booking Requests
When you request a quote or cleaning service, we use the information you provide to understand the property, assess the work required, provide pricing information and arrange the service.
This may include your contact details, property address, property type, cleaning frequency, selected service, optional extras, preferred date and time, notes and other information you provide.
The starting prices shown on our website may not be your final quotation. Information submitted through the quote or booking process may be reviewed by Turnkey Clean before a final price or booking is confirmed.
6. Property Photos and Uploaded Information
Where our website allows you to upload photographs or other property information for a quotation, those files are used to help us assess the cleaning work required.
Please avoid including unnecessary personal information in uploaded photographs. You should also avoid uploading photographs of people, identity documents, financial documents or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary.
Property photographs may also be taken by our team where reasonably necessary to document the condition of a property or the completion of agreed work. We will only use such photographs for appropriate operational purposes unless we obtain permission for another use.
7. Booking and Database Services
We use Supabase to provide database and related technical services for parts of the Turnkey Clean website.
Information submitted through our booking system may therefore be stored and processed using Supabase infrastructure.
This can include contact details, booking details, service selections, property information and other information needed to manage your request.

Information required to deliver an email may include your name, email address and relevant booking or service information.
10. WhatsApp and Other Messaging Services
We may provide a link or contact option allowing customers to communicate with Turnkey Clean through WhatsApp or another messaging service.
Using these services is optional. If you choose to use them, your information may also be processed by the relevant messaging provider in accordance with its own privacy terms.
You can contact us by email or telephone instead if you prefer.
11. Social Media and External Links
Our website may contain links to services such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps and other third-party websites.
A standard external link does not normally load the third-party service simply because you visit our page. If you select the link, however, you will leave our website and the relevant provider may process information about your visit.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
12. Cookies and Local Storage
Our website may use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies where necessary to provide website functionality.
For example, Turnkey Clean may use browser local storage to remember the language you selected so the website can continue to display your preferred language on future visits.
Where cookies or similar technologies are strictly necessary for a service requested by the user, they may be used without requesting optional cookie consent.
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies in the future, we will provide appropriate information and obtain consent where required before activating them.

Where online payment or deposit facilities are offered, payments may be processed by an external payment service provider.
Turnkey Clean does not need to store full payment card details where payment information is processed securely by the relevant payment provider.
We may receive and retain transaction information such as payment status, amount, transaction reference, refund status and related booking information where necessary for our records.

15. International Data Transfers
Some technology providers we use may process or store personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal mechanism or safeguard is available.
This may include an adequacy regulation, contractual safeguards or another transfer mechanism recognised by UK data protection law.
16. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, managing customer relationships and meeting legal, accounting, insurance and tax requirements.
Different types of information may therefore have different retention periods.
Quote requests that do not lead to a service may generally be deleted or anonymised once they are no longer reasonably required.
Information connected with completed services, invoices, payments, complaints or legal obligations may need to be retained for longer.
17. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure.
Measures may include encrypted website connections, access controls, secure service credentials, restricted administrative access and appropriate cloud security controls.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information we process.
18. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of personal information in certain circumstances;
- request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- object to certain uses of your personal information;
- receive certain information in a portable format where the right to data portability applies; and
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
These rights are not absolute and may depend on the circumstances and the lawful basis under which information is being processed.
19. Direct Marketing
Transactional messages relating to a quote, booking, payment or cleaning service are not the same as promotional marketing communications.
If Turnkey Clean sends promotional marketing communications, we will do so in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic communications rules.
Where required, we will obtain appropriate consent before sending marketing communications.
You can ask us to stop sending direct marketing at any time.
20. Automated Decision-Making
We do not currently use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on customers.
Our quotation process may use information submitted through the website to organise or assist with a cleaning request, but final quotations may be reviewed by Turnkey Clean before confirmation.
21. Children's Information
Turnkey Cleans services are intended for adults arranging cleaning services for properties.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children through our booking or quotation services.
22. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, we encourage you to contact Turnkey Clean first so we can try to resolve the matter.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the UKs data protection regulator, the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
Information about your rights and how to contact the ICO is available through the Information Commissioners Office website.
